I’ll admit it. I’m an eavesdropper. I mean come on (!) it is too fun not to be. I’ve found for the most part it is a victimless crime, plus… in the dating playground, WOW, it can be the PERFECT entry point to a fun flirting session. Now I’m not talking about creepy, intent eavesdropping including sophisticated wiring and such. No, I’m suggesting subtle, natural overhearing that you actually RESPOND to. I’m convinced that as women we all eavesdrop. We can’t help it! We are naturally curious about conversations – our own and others, because they help us learn. So, if the conversation of another nearby peaks your curiosity, ignite it by commenting on or asking a question about what you overheard. In my experience, it is a fabulous springboard to a great conversation. Happy eavesdropping!
