We are taught, either directly or indirectly, from a very young that makeup makes us look pretty. What we aren’t taught, but somehow what guys seem to know, is that we are already pretty… meaning that makeup, should be used simply to highlight what we already got going on. Ask any guy and you will find that nearly all of them prefer less to no makeup versus a lot of makeup. In fact 18% state that they wish their girlfriends would wear less, considerably less “war paint.” They want to kiss the face of the girl they like, not a pile of foundation and animal product laced lipstick. They want to stare in to the eyes of a woman who’s eyes they really are – not fake colored lenses with thick eyeliner. They want to see the true you always, whether you are just waking up next to him, or his date at a fancy affair. The bottom line is: you don’t need to put your pretty on, it is already on.
